I'm feeling pretty down at the moment. It's proving really hard to get my life in gear.
:-\
I guess you wouldn't like this but *hugs* anyway.
I'm tired, my dad is continuing with his good old abandonment schtick, I'm sleeping even worse lately (no longer able to sleep the full night, as opposed to just nightmares), and I can't really convince myself to eat.

and I can't even think clearly enough to make art, which would help deal with it.
Well, as best as I can advice...dwell on the more positive aspects that you have over there. Working on the idea 'the more you dwell on it the more focused it gets.' here, you do need to eat to live, and it'd not do well if you're lacking in health.

If you cannot help worrying, however, remember that worrying cannot help you. It's added stress on top of the ideal notion of trying to understand what problems exist. Something's really bothering you Vec :-\ and what I could say is that you can do this and pull through.
You need sleep--don't fear the nightmare that may come. If there's a nightmare, try to find ways to disable it, or face it head-on.
and by the last part I...could mean through lucid dreaming? that's how I work here though...

Talk it over with a friend or someone you trust perhaps? Positive reinforcement goes a long way.
I don't know what's up there though, but...if it means anything for you, I support you in whatever mood you're in.

My sads are that I miss talking to you guys on a regular basis, and for longer than 10 minutes at a time.

Pretty trivial compared to people's actual sads, but felt like getting that out there.
*hugs everyone*

Blood stained? I always thought it would be golden ichor. You know, blood of Angels type thing?

I mean, any forum can be blood-stained. Bay12 is ichor stained.

Don't forget flaming dragon blood.

Or, better yet, flaming crab-dragon ichor.

Or, better better yet, flaming crab-dragon ichood.

Or, better better better yet, flaming emaciated pig-crab-dragon green ichood.

I just found out my store is closing in September. This on top of this other drama has me at the brink of tears. First me toe, then my gf breaking up with me and cheating on me, followed by the drama her roommate brought me And now losing my job? I swear, the gods have no mercy to some of us...

After seeing today's XKCD...

Every time I see anything about climate change, I just get this horrible sinking feeling. We often look back in history and see people in the past as quaint and misguided. Our generation's going to be looked back on as the idiots who ruined everything for everyone despite knowing better because we couldn't quite stop enjoying the status quo enough to bother doing anything about it.

It's a really hard thing to be optimistic about.

Agreed.

Also, I'm sad because I'm going to be unable to access these forums for a month and a half.

Had bed bugs in the room we were staying in, spent the whole day comforting a friend who completely freaked out today after finding bed bugs in her hair (she had been wearing a hat that had been sitting on the bedroom floor). I admit it's kind of got me disturbed as well.
