People often think having more options, or the reverse set of options makes anything easier. I'm bisexual and have had a few phases where one gender or the other just didn't do anything for me. Let me give you a hint, nothing is easier.

The real trick is to realize sex isn't anything special.

I'm asexual and...yeah. T'ain't anything special.

Now if you add in most of everything else that humans are ok with (emotions, sentimentalities...) then you begin sprucing the meaning up.

But if I was something other than straight, I'd at least have some options right now. My only options right now are, "Fuck everything up horribly.", "Do nothing and wait patiently.", "Keep doing what you're doing.", and "Fuck it up in the evilest, most cruel way possible."

Naturally I am just going to keep doing what I'm doing. >.>
Speaking from experience, those are still your only options, no matter what your sexuality. Then again, "Try until you stop failing," is an option, too. You missed that one.

Here's hoping xe manages to recover, and do so quickly. If it helps to lift your spirits at all, The Oatmeal has a comic pointing out what an asshole cancer is.

My cousin- who is nineteen, and is just finishing up her freshman year in college- cannot under any circumstances be dissuaded from getting married in a few weeks. The whole family is going nuts. It's incredibly tempting to send her fiancé an escort or something to cause a scandal.

The moral of the story, kids, is that if you're really set on shacking up with someone, just shack up with them. There are worse things than not being a virgin on your wedding night.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Sexual attraction is stupid but it's not really a good or bad thing.
Besides I am of the opinion that romantic orientation is more important and anyone who isn't romantically attracted to men are luckiest because men are generally selfish and condescending.

I cannot say this enough: stereotypes are stupid. They do nothing but reinforce negativity toward people you've never met. Yeah, some men are selfish and condescending. Then again, so are some women. Get to know the individual person, then judge if you want to, groups you want to lump them into be damned, but stop with the fucking stereotypes.
