He'll just give some excuses.
Then I would ignore him. His problem.

Just found out a couple friends of mine from high school had a kid. I'm happy for them, but I'm also pretty worried.
Is there any particular reason for your worry?

They're in college

Just spent three hours binging on youtube videos of Key & Peele. It is now 12:00 at night and I've done nothing productive all day and it's a school night and I need to go waste another 8 hours of life at school tomorrow and and what am I doing with my life. I had plans. Goals. Dreams. Why did I waste 3 hours looking at stupid internet videos waaaaah. Cue horrible guilt and self loathing and a night of telling myself I'm a worthless unproductive waste of human life who contributes nothing to society. Mild panic attack ho.

Anyway. In other news, it's humid for the third day in a row. Really humid. I hate humidity. This is a legitimate sad. #firstworldproblems #sarcastichashtags #stupidpostaboutfeels #goingtosleepnow #helpmestophashtagging

You aren't worthless, or unproductive, or a waste of human life, and I'm sure you contribute to society.
Stop being harsh on yourself, everyone does stuff like that.

He'll just give some excuses.
That sounds more like you're 'just' predicting him rather than actually having done that. :v (by the 'just' and the 'give' rather than what anystoryofwhathedidwhenyoutried)

Interests.
People are attracted by interests-whether it be title or content...it seems the content was far lacking :x

Also, what MC said. You ain't a waste of human life. You ain't worthless. :I
Stop saying you are.

I have a whole lot of nights like that, especially recently >_>

I'm going to use the sad thread for an unintended purpose and announce that

a. No STDs!
b. I'm about to buy a really nicely-fitted wool suit for not too much money!
c. I finally got off my ass and sent out a lot of emails today that I've been putting off for weeks!

Well then let me shove that same thing onto you, ma'am! :I
You aren't worthless. You have worth--just not based on others' limited perception of you. I know you get what I mean.

Y'know that feeling when you finish something really amazing and now you know there's nothing left to do but chew over the memories, and you'll never have the experience again because the very definition of novelty forbids it? Twice, in as many weeks. That particular blend of rapture and emptiness is one hell of a thing. I think I'm going to go cry myself to sleep, but I don't know what kind of tears.

I know I can put it in this thread, though because I hate soggy pillows. God. Such a pain.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I know that feeling. Every time I finish a particularly good book or series of books, I get it.

I think I fucked up my sleep schedule a little bit.

When I went to the supermarket after I woke up the bus driver greeted me with "good evening" and my morning alarm just went off while gaming.

* Tiruin is amazed by what some 'doctors' practice there.
Did they give you clues or narrow down what could be ailing you on the matter?

This is the... second? third? time you throw around the "M" word in the last 48 hours. Considering how little info about the actual events is avaiable (and/or can reasonably be avaiable), I think a bit more care is in order before jumping to malpractice accusations.
