Well Christianity is completely OK with rape, as long as you're not raping a virgin, but even if you do, it's all alright as long as you marry her afterwards.
eh, what? That's news to me. (I actually don't think that's entirely true. :P All Christians I've met, regardless of denomination, have been completely loathing of rape.)
THAT IS NOT TRUE.

What makes me sad right now are things like these being spouted about without people researching on them.

Edited out bad stuff that I'd like to be said but it's against my principle to say it because assumptions.

There are certain passages in the Bible that encourage rape, but Christians don't all follow the same parts of the Bible, and they all have different interpretations of it. And, by and large, there are some passages, such as those detailing women as spoils of war, that most Christians don't really stick with.

Said passages of the bible have context in which why they were written.

I mean you could just say 'THE BIBLE ENCOURAGES SLAVERY' because they have passages on masters and slaves!  ::)

Hence my sad still stands.

This is exactly why I don't get into religious debates.

Same here. We usually discuss this in an open forum manner wherein we learn from each other and such.

...Not commit undermining statements without researching the matter. >_>

In which honestly? I am sometimes appalled by western understanding of Christianity sometimes. :/

I think I'm getting sicker.

My fever is getting worse, and I feel like I'm going to throw up. I feel very exhausted.
Rest, rest, rest, hydrate, and get love and emotional support from family and friends.

Not all diseases are purely clinical in nature. Good spirits, ahoy!

You're going to get well soon. :)

You seem very sure of this, aren't you?

But really, no, I'll probably start feeling better tomorrow or something. I just feel very bleagh today, worse then yesterday, at least.
I least I haven't actually thrown up yet.

Mastah, dude, you should probably see a doctor. It's never good news when symptoms are getting worse.

If it persists or gets worse by tomorrow, you ought at least to go in for a look. It's not good to leave these things alone.

Well, I would, but the doctors in my area are frickin' incompetent.
They literally did the same exact test the last three times I went in for these same exact symptoms, and all three times, they said "Well, it's not the flu, so we don't know what it is." and gave me some over-the-counter crap that doesn't work.

I'd love to see a competent doctor.

Did they give you clues or narrow down what could be ailing you on the matter?

You have no idea how much I wish that were a joke. I am dead serious.
And... Not really, they pretty much told me that fevers are the body's defense mechanism (Which I learned in school, for crying out loud. I already know that.) and that it means that I have some form of virus.
To which I would like to respond with saying "No Shit!" but I don't say anything because I just want to leave.

Common symptom?

...Did they narrow it down or...at least designate a probable common ailment?
Did they...question you on what you felt beforehand? What did you eat? Probably something with what you ingested? Was there coughing...something wrong with your respiratory tract?

[1] Common symptom?

[2] ...Did they narrow it down or...at least designate a probable common ailment?

[5] Probably something with what you ingested?
[6] Was there coughing...something wrong with your respiratory tract?

[1] Yeah, they told me all the stuff I had as common symptoms. It was super helpful.
[2] They said it was probably a virus. That was as narrow as they made it.
[3] They asked how long it had been lasting.
[4] Nope. (Oh wait, are you asking on if they asked me what I ate, or are you asking me what I ate? Assuming former.)
[5] Nope. (Same as above.)
[6] I coughed a couple times, but they seemed to not really care.

Well, this seems fitting to add in.

I just got back from picking up my mother-in-law from the ER.

Apparently she felt like fainting, and the people in the hospital said that it's probably blood pressure related.

That's specific.
