You sacrifice the goat, sending its spirit toward the deity in question. Then you burn the parts of the animal that you wouldn't want to eat anyway, as another sacrifice. Then you cook the meat, sacrificing the blood. But then the deity doesn't want anything else! Add salt, plate with asparagus.

Ah, but one does not simply anger a Blood God by withholding his helping of Blood.
The infamous Sap God is by far a better alternative-on the whole, he is an agreeable fellow. Doesn't mind if you use his sap.
To sum up: Make black pudding, Blood God takes his blood anyway. From you. Perhaps Sap pudding would be a better alternative?
