He apparently was having a really bad day and got bored, hence proceeded to just . . . drink.

I'm actually kind of glad I've decided to be relentlessly sober.  First of all, I'm pretty sure I'd be a weepy drunk.  And second of all, gosh, these guys are annoying.

Did a drawing for class, pretty much rushed it but did it anyway.  Concentrated real hard on lights and darks, colors and light source and all that.  Made sure to put in the drop shadow so the object didn't look like it was floating.

Critiques said I needed to put in a light source, it needed more color, and the drop shadow made it look like it was floating.

Fuck my life ._.

I like babysitting drunks. (unless they get vomity, which is pretty unfun!)

I'm also probably a bad babysitter, though. I've told I'm actually decent to babysit myself on account of being fairly entertaining, so long as I've not had enough to get me pukey (which is about... well, it's more than 3 bottles of wine, I think).

I rarely drink, but when I finally do end up in some party I always wake up either in my own vomit or in the shower with someone washing the vomit off of me.

:/

I'm also born with some strange defect so I don't wake up when I puke, I've tried way too often being just sick and waking up in dried vomit.

It's a horrible thing.

When I lived home, if I was sick or drunk, my mother would keep an eye on my all night if she could to make sure I didn't drown myself in vomit. :/

Yeah, in this case he was fine as long nausea-wise as long as he didn't stop moving, so we took a 3-hour walk to keep him from going to bed or doing anything else stupid.  By the end he was completely sober, thank heavens.

I don't think that all drunk people would annoy me (I've met some I earnestly liked), but the ones I've been taking care of recently... nah, no thanks.

I get good and tipsy after three glasses. I honestly don't know how people drink as much as they do- I feel after you start having a bit of trouble keeping your balance and start cheek-kissing and flirting with every member of your preferred gender in sight...who can drink more, really?

Maybe that's cause I like my wine and beer, and like them done slowly, rather than chugging liquor.
3 glasses of what? if its beer youre pretty weak.

when i drink (on holidays with the family) i can usually drink a few glasses of beer or weak wine. i dont think i've been truly drunk before because the farthest i've gone to when drinking was a numbing headache at the back of my head that feels like someone is grappling/pressing really hard down on the part of your neck that connects to your head.

im able to control myself, but i respond slower and am generally less responsive because of that since i try to control myself more when im drinking. I wouldnt consider that drunk though, but i do imagine it would be very hard to drive or focus in that state. I've never passed out/vomited from drinking (would that be considered drunk?).

also today i was browsing the forum when i came across a particular thread that made me take this test:
http://www.talisman.org/quizzes/robin-hood-morality.shtml
which forced me to decide who was the worst of the lot aside from like 1 character, that made me pretty sad...

but hey that has its own thread (find it) if you want to discuss your results.

So after my first day of work, apparently by not patrolling and by reading my book while there was no one around, they don't want me to return to the site.

Thankfully enough the company I'm with is willing to keep me on, but I think I should probably look for other work. I might not be cut out for security work. ._.

then just walk around blindly while reading your book next time. Security is one of the easiest jobs you can get.

Problem is I didn't -know- I had to patrol. I was told to keep an eye on the side entrance, where the truck-drivers were coming in.

Did you try explaining that to them?  Sometimes just communicating with people calmly can go a long way.

You were clearly supposed to walk back and forth in the doorway and ask the truckers if they're terrorists.

I explained it to the security company and he said he'd figure out what is up. :I

Sometimes people are unreasonable no matter how understanding you try to be. I've been scolded and threatened to be fired before for not doing something I wasn't told I was supposed to do at my first job.
