Why can't I keep my emotions under control? Why am I irrationally scared of this girl? I'M NOT THIRTEEN ANYMORE DAMMIT

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

but they had only Lupercalia, which, while involving fertility, involved naked men running around smacking women with bloody carcasses. And I don't know about you, but that is not what my day involved.

Did you know valentine's day was invented in the 19th century by hallmark. It was supposedly adapted from Roman tradition, but they had only Lupercalia, which, while involving fertility, involved naked men running around smacking women with bloody carcasses. And I don't know about you, but that is not what my day involved.

naked men running around smacking women with bloody carcasses.
I need to do this.

When was the actual date of Lupercalia?
A quick google search says Feb 13-15.

Some of the local police seem to have taken up the sport of pulling me over about once a week.... I'm due for it again this weekend.

Pretty sure there's no reason, except to mess with me, 'cause they let me go each time.

I pretty much just have my license, registration and insurance ready.

I just smile the whole time and I'm far too polite for it to be sincere.

Go figure. It really isn't going to stop me from challenging the validity of searches, etc. Sorta the job....

It's not legal advice per se. Just a course of action, one I am advising since Truean knows how to sue people with more skill than the average Ohioan.

[shrugs] I suppose it comes with the territory. They only stop me for a few minutes anyhow. Though this is a reason I will never give clients a ride. I never know what they're carrying/what they could potentially drop in my car....

Meh, this is yet another reason I sometimes would really like a normal job. No hanging around jail cells and sometimes scary felons. No worrying about paying SE taxes. No office expenses. Actually getting paid for every hour I work instead of about half of them. Way less responsibility and honestly much easier pay.... Then there's the foreign concept of free time.... Not having people hate you more often than not. Not having to keep strict track of EVERY bloody thing....

I could've gone far in accounting. Might still. Who knows.

Watched.. I think it was called 'the last lioness' (it's a documentary), following a lioness.

Had two cubs, got stampeded, and watching one of them abandoned by its mother because it broke its back made me feel sad.
This is why I don't watch nature things. SO SAD.
