Well, for singular it was "there is not a projector"
The sentence was "There are no windows".

There are no windows.    Correct
There are not windows. Incorrect
There is not a projector. Technically correct, though it sounds stilted.
There is no projector. Also correct

EDIT: Changed "there are not windows"...realized that "not" is just not used for items of which you're talking about a quantity. "There is not a window" would be okay.

Mayby it was because that i accidently used "there are no windows" twice, but it was a test on ten and i had to fill in eight things (we got a picture of a class and we had to list four things that were there and four things that were not.)

Still no reason to add a T behind my no's tough.

RedKing is correct - add a "t" to your "no"s in the sentence "There are no windows" would be technically incorrect. Valid, perhaps, thanks to the wonder of implied words, but still technically incorrect.

Regardless, it's dumb. And you should complain, if that's really the case, or at least get an explanation of why "no windows" is invalid and get back to us.

I had some things I wanted to share, but I gave it a second before dedicating it to writing, then chose not to. It's all just more whining in an apathetic world.

EDIT: I'll write something else later.

Write what you think and feel. Don't hide it thinking it's shameful to say.

Too late, I read it :)

[edit] Whilst I am here, this made me depressed today.  Was looking for the whole uninhabitable Earth thing that was yesterday, and while I didn;t find that I found this.[/edit]

So I did some math revision stuff in preparation for college... I'm frequently amazed by mathematics's ability to make me simultaneously feel like a genius and an idiot.

I'm really not sure I'm going to be able to do all this stuff, I'm really scared, and I shouldn't be...

That is the most apt description of doing math that I have ever heard.

A 6 hour drive to my nations capital city, in order to give a presentation tomorrow that will be the defining moment of my career so far. Not really my idea of fun.

I meant don't screw up. Fail big enough, and you'll end up ostracized and shamed, ye unto the seventh generation, living as a hermit in Madagascar under the alias Marco McForeigner.

Wales has a capital city?

Oh, you meant London. :P

Ah, Prydain, you funny old place.
