Or in my case, gag reflex. I nearly broke my dentist's arm when getting a mold made for a nightguard.

Last time I had a tooth pulled (exposed wisdom tooth, no surgery required) it took four assistants to hold me down and keep the dentist from losing fingers. My defensive reflexes are very strong.

Ugh. I made it through a little under half a foot of of unopened mail tonight. 90% expired credit card offers. My homestead exemption notice. And a bunch of expired auto insurance cards.

Why is that so fucking draining?

The neighborhood kids thrashed me at basketball the other day. Also, I keep leaving stuff behind.

I can't find someone's witty quote about Engels, Lenin, and Stalin.  :'(
Something about Engel waves and Lenin-some suffix for a radioactive ore.

I feel empty. Hollow. Meaningless. I feel as if I don't serve a purpose at all.

This has been going on for far too long. Need to cull these stupid emotions somehow.

Found out the hard way that one does not simply eat an entire can of refried beans. That way madness lies...  :-[

Re-fried? What, are they fried, taken out of the fryer, and then fried again? ???

I used to think that they cooked like that in the UK. Then I realized that, lacking olive oil, they just use awful animal butter as cooking oil substitute. This is the secret behind the disgustingness of british food.

Quote from: The Wikipedia
The name is based on a mistranslation: in Mexican Spanish, the prefix re is an informal form of emphasis meaning "very" or "well", which has been confused with the English re and the most common use of the Spanish (Latin) prefix re outside Mexico, which more often indicates repetition. Thus, frijoles refritos really means "well-fried beans", not "refried beans". In this dish, the beans are often fried, but may also be baked, thus making the term "refried" a misnomer on two counts.
