You're heading somewhere awesome, right?

I think he said seattle in another thread, but he could be wrong. If that's true, I could give him a few pointers.

Ninja'd, like a baws.

I hope you like coffee. Also, never carry an umbrella.

Seattle.

So, maybe? xD
I know tons of people who are there or have been there. If you can't find friends THERE, you won't find friends ANYWHERE. :P Tons of liberals are there, and they tend to be well-read and chill and just your kind of scene. I think you'd thrive there, Kai.

Never had. Want to try, though.

Will I get struck by lightning, or carried away Mary Poppins style in the wind?

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Perhaps, when my daughter is old enough to coherently pick which parent she wants to live with, we'll meet you in Seattle.

Umbrellas make you stick out like a sore thumb. Get yourself a windbreaker with a hood. It's where I live, after all.

Truth be told, I love the rain, so expect to see me walk around in a t-shirt and shorts getting soaked.

You'll probably like it less when it rains 285 days out of the 365...  :P

It's not the warm, luscious rain that feels like the touch of a lover. It's cold, fierce, driving nails of freezing death.

Now do you see why we like coffee?

Did I mention I hate warm, luscious rain that smothers my very existence, compared to the cold, determined bone chilling rains I lurve?

I just realized I've migrated entirely out of the upper forums. Kinda sucks that I won't be able to see what the dorfs and adventurers are up to, but I can't bring myself to go back. Maybe it's because I haven't played DF for about a month.
