Feeling sad today for no real reason.  Decided to have a crying session in my room, and I creeped myself out due to noticing my core thoughts were completely unaffected by my outer emotions.  Also, I noticed that I avoided crying with any significant volume because I didn't want to disturb my parents, because I didn't want their (unhelpful) comments.
I want to cry too.  I haven't been able to be extremely emotional in awhile.

It's really amazing that most people don't know who Alan Turing was, or that in addition to breaking Nazi Ciphers in WWII, he more or less gave us the modern computer's building blocks. (More complex but yeah, basically)
Really?  He's probably the most famous of the Bletchley Park people (maybe not so much in America).  There were plenty of other brilliant codebreakers and computer pioneers with less public recognition (partly because the Park was secret for so long - at the time of his death all of Turing's stuff was still classified so noone even knew his contribution).

Bosses in prototype being so simple.
1. Steal tank
2. Lock on
3. Hold fire buttons
4. If tank breaks, repeat.
5. ???
6. Profit

I died 3 times in the huge stationary greene thing until i stole a tank. After that it was just a breeze and i didnt die.
(well, except for that time when the wave attack came and i got knocked out of my tank at adrenaline surge health and then i got sniped by rubble.)

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

I think it was kinda the point of the game to be as OP as possible and starting to wreck peoples' shit.

But afaik things'll get harder later on.

Still, the main dissapointment was that the bosses were nearly impossible to do with just the blade and the armor, (the tactic consisted of doing a quick run, trying not to get beaten to death by one of the "paws" or rubble-sniped, hit a few times with the blade and then run back to let my health regenerate) but in a tank you just own the boss.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Its an epic game, dont get me wrong, but the bosses are quite a dissapointment sometimes.
And its actually nearly only the bosses.
Bases are very, VERY well defended and strike teams are major threats, but its just the bosses, the things that are supposed to be as harder then these things.

Somehow, cutting trough thick crowds of people never gets boring.
