Friendzoned. Damnit. Still, lets not be hasty about this.

Know the feel dude, just don't let it get to you :)

Also studying, too much of it, and for the past two days almost nothing, I don't know if I burned out or is it just too damn hot for me to function properly (something I should be used to considering the climate of these parts).

I don't mind it that much. I mean, it's kind of annoying, but I can't shun professional relationships, so...

Quote from: wikipedia
In popular culture, the "friend zone" refers to a platonic relationship where one person wishes to enter into a romantic relationship while the other does not. It is generally considered to be an undesirable situation by the lovelorn person. Once the friend zone is established, it is said to be difficult to move beyond that point in a relationship.
is this the correct one? I never heard of friend zone before, and I don't want another fap incident.
Pretty sure it is.
*is king of the friend zone*

firefox?
I don't like how firefox has it's bar where you put the URL fill half the screen when typing, I also don't like the general look of everything.

I hate IE8, because it keeps trying to force me to fill out this IE8 survey thingy. Every single time I boot it.

Bluh, exhausted and working one of the toughest shifts at work. I started the workday having slight trouble standing for more than a couple minutes; the only thing I could do, once I realized how fucked I was, was get some caffeine, which has probably kicked my addiction back in, so I get to spend the next 2 weeks being miserable and will have to skip the next time I want caffeine, when I can use the rush to fuel my own hobbies and I wouldn't have been so close to my last dose as to re-addict myself. And I get to deal with caffeine-anxiety during work, yay.

Also, I think I might have a fever. Nothing I can really do now that I'm on shift, so I'm just keeping my hands well-sanitized and keep away from patients as best I can. Gonna call in tomorrow if this general feeling of "No fucking way is it only 70 degrees in here, objectively calibrated piece of machinery" persists.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

A certain retail employee in my immediate locale is very, very dumb. This makes me sad. See rage thread for more info.
