This girl I like, goes to classes with me, really cute, very brilliant.

The thing is, she kind of seems intimidating, I'm as bright and smart as her, but the thing is, she actually did stuff with her brain, travelled the world and has tons of facts and interesting stories in her head. I have too, but it's mostly imaginary :/

So how the heck would I go about approaching someone like that and not feeling inferior and bad about myself even if she did like me back :I

It could be worse, it could be the other way around. :)

I suppose the best way to answer this is: if you like her, and she ends up liking you, it shouldn't make you feel bad. Sadly, that answer isn't very practical, so let me ask a few questions:

Why does it make you feel inferior? If you both have similar mental prowess, then the differences between her experiences and yours are simply matters of circumstance or personal choice. The former is not your fault, and the latter can be changed by going out and doing things similar to her (which, if you manage to get into a relationship with her, can be great bonding time!).

Is there a matter of fame or esteem? Do you feel that she has some sort of tangible proof of her prowess while you do not? And if so, that this is cause to feel inferior? Do you feel/think that you need to prove yourself to her (or yourself!) with events from the past as opposed to flexings of your mental muscle in the present/future? Inversely, are you putting her up on some sort of pedestal for these experiences, or even just because she's the object of your attraction. And if so, why do you think that is?

And finally, even if these feelings of inferiority can't be "resolved," why do they weigh you down enough to consider not approaching a great potential gf (assuming this is romantically inclined)?

It's mostly an esteem issue I think, too long to write up but it's best summed up in a series of somewhat bad expiriences with girls and the little issue that causes me to overthink every single detail when interacting with people.

What I fear I guess is that the conversation would go something like this:
"So I then scaled the top of the world with one arm while saving a baby tiger with the other one last summer, what did you do?"

"I...ummm... spent my days playing videogames and watching movies and TV shows while I would go out and get drunk on the evenings."

Now I know it's hardly going to happen in any way similar to that but I still can't help but imagine the worst case scenario that she finds me incredibly dull and uninteresting beyond my thin facade of a very funny artsy guy :/

I guess it's the fact that she did stuff I talked about doing but never really got around to do because of procastrination/laziness. Another reason why I worry about all of this is that I'm not the only guy that likes her and I feel incredibly lame compared to the other ones :/

Or all of this could be just another way to avoid taking the risk and potentially getting hurt again. Because frankly, if that happened again, however used to it I have become over time I don't think I would handle it all too well without certain people I can't talk to oftenly what with them being a 4 hour bus drive away :/

Sometimes I wish it was all as simple as in Sims, having a big hovering bar indicate all your needs and progress towards a goal instead of this amibguous touch&feel way we have now X)

I just read some fanfics at random. 5 MLP:FiM and 3 Fallout.

Is fanfiction.net were bad authors go to die? All the good authors seem to use Google Docs or blogs.
Good Sir or Madam.

Have you been introduced to Fallout Equestria? I suspect not since you'd be two weeks going through the entire thing.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I explain things as simply as I can, and clients look at me bewildered and ask, "why can't we just do [overly simple answer]?"

A.) Please give me some credit. If I could "just" do something easily, then why would I go through all this other shit?
B.) I literally just told you why before you asked that question. There are numerous thick books on evidence rules and if you don't follow them, then you might get your evidence thrown the hell out.
C.) "Best evidence rule," Evid Rule 1001 et seq, says you can use a copy, but only after you explain why you don't have the original (and you have to do it according to evidence rule standards for proving you "lost" it). <-- This doesn't mean you can't use a copy; it means before you do, you have to explain why you don't have the original.
D.) If you don't follow this procedure then the court can raise a presumption that the reason you didn't produce the original document is that there is something bad on it that goes against you. This is bad, so follow the rule, because the penalty sucks and operates as a sort of ... proof against you.
E.) To prove you "lost" the document, you have to prove it existed in the first place and that you lost it through no fault of your own (that you're not hiding it). You can do this several ways.

I don't get why people look at me like I'm trying to burn them here. I'm trying to keep the other side from doing that....
