Come live in Port Macquarie, NSWs uncultured retirement home. Beautiful beaches, Oakeshott isn't too much of a dick I guess, things are reasonably cheap... Only problem is that the only three industries are retail, hospitality and retirement.

Vector's progressive thread didn't even outlive her departure by a week. Knew it would happen eventually, but dang yo...

Porridge.

But it's cheap and I want save up money ;_;

Also, I really want to stream Overlord, but I'm also really insecure about giving people a good time, if anyone would want to watch it :/

  I feel a mix of envy and existential horror for the people who don't seem to have a problem -- those people who seem able to completely shut off their personalities and become automatons for 8-10 hours a day, expressing no loss over those hours spent seemingly not even alive in any sense relative to individual human being.

Don't feel the former.  It's because we're maybe a little dead on the inside and just going through the motions.

On the topic of fish, I've tended to notice fish have one of the greatest philosophies known to the animal kingdom.

They swim, be free and be fish. If anything goes wrong, they get stressed and die. Fish live content to the moment of death. ~ LW

Actually, wouldn't that be "content to the moment of onset of stress, followed by a grueling and stressful death?"

Nah, it's a funny Seinfeldish coincidence, but I bought it for the price I thought it was worth.

Never thought of that.  Guess my name is appropriate, in a way.  I don't do well without freedom.

Salmon also tastes great. Greater than this porridge, that's for sure.

I'd say the fish would be too busy dying to notice.
