Thank you for the consolation. but I have a large immediate family, so I have not been caused so much distress by the matter (and such just makes the notion that I would mock or trivialize your pain far more disgusting), but it would be agreeable to find some new faces, as this place has come to feel rather like a prison. I suppose that would be better remedied if I simply shut up and returned to work by which I might fund my escape.

Anyway, that shall be enough of me make a clumsy fool of myself. Back to the regularly-scheduled sad...

In light of recent events I posted in the RAEG thread, I'm going to leave a rant thing here.

After the events, I had a talk with my mom. She tried to comfort me but I don't think it really worked all that well because I think she inadvertently made me jealous of my friends. I'm still sad/mad (smad?) that my dad just ignored what I said an literally told me to shut up. Am I so insignificant/unimportant that my own dad would ignore what I have to say? I cry very easily in response to things like that (me getting ignored and such, yeah go ahead and laugh) and when I try to console myself it just feels like I'm kicking myself and I get even sadder. Times like these always make me feel like my mind is split into multiple little people, like the part that's always saying things like "There there you goddamn blubbering pansy" or "no goddammit stop crying you idiot" and the part that's trying to comfort me but always fails and the part that's just sitting in the shadowy corner whispering "nobody loves you" or "you'll never amount to anything" that I know is wrong but sometimes I think it could be right and it's those that are the worst times of all. And then there's the part that's saying that it's okay to cry and a good cry never hurt anyone except it males me sad too and I guess I'm coming off as a bit crazy or emo or something. I'm just saying what I feel like (aka useless) and what I think which is probably really stupid sounding right now. Normally I wouldn't dream of showing all this but I guess I finally cracked today.
Maybe I'll just sleep it off. Everything will be better tomorrow (or so I keep telling myself but some f me just doesn't want to believe it).

If I were to be entirely honest, I would mention that I do have siblings that are close, so I am not alone.

I have friends but I only see them once or twice a year.

My brain's inability to stick with any particular emotion for more than an hour or so is really getting to me today. A brief moment of ludicrous self-confidence, followed by a little simmering rage followed by a bout of crushing despair is pretty stupid. And to top it off, I know it's going to do it all over again tomorrow.

Just stop it please brain, I really don't need this right now...
