eh, just thought this might cheer up some sad people. can't say it surprises me, or that i would do it differently, but it makes me sad that the toad had to intervene, and that it possibly affected his own mood

Yeah, thank you.  I was really happy.

I'm sad because I wasn't able to preorder the Magicka Bathrobe, and get the DLC that comes with it, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to order one now that the preorder period is over.

Todays fathers day was really awkward. I'm just happy it's basically over.

Fathers day is the 19th I thought?

Perhaps that is why it was so awkward.

In the US, yeah, it's the 19th (third Sunday in June). Can't quite recall where Mindmaker lives though, so it may well be different there.

Edit: He's in Austria. Based on wiki, theirs is the second Sunday in June, which would indeed by today.

Yeah. I wasn't aware that it was different in the US.

Well, I had my gift. I offered my congratulations. Everything that followed can be forgotten...

I think I'm getting a flu. Or at least something similar to a flu.

Actually had a couple of hours sans family last night to fritter away on Steam. That part made me happy, especially finally taking the time to find the DF community and checking out chat.

Then intenuiso talked me into trying out the Zombie Master mod for HL2. I started thinking, "Hey...you know, I might actually enjoy playing multiplayer stuff if it was with people that I sorta know won't be asshats."

We hopped onto a random populated server. Oh God....the asshattery. And I didn't turn off voice chat beforehand. It was like a glimpse into Hell's Sewer.  :o :'(

Well not sad, but frustrating nonetheless is the fact that every time I go to sleep during the summers it is hot as in hell, I have to listen those damn birds singing outside all the time AND if it is weekend I have to listen drunkards shouting and screaming in/outside a nearby bar!

EDIT: Well actually, the drunkard are problem for the whole year, not just summer.

When people hear that I'm going to study Anthropology, I always get asked to explain what it is and what you do there.
It always takes me some time to come up with an satisfying answer. It's still quite vague, so follow up questions are always a risk.

Those situations are always unsettling and I ask myself if I'm doing the right thing.
I probably should make an appointment and talk to a professor there. Maybe that will cast away the uncertainty.

I know how you feel.  Just... have faith.  There's nothing else you can do, but I really, honestly believe it'll be okay in the end, for both of us.

I am forced to wonder if the above post was intended to be facetious or there is something dire and sinister about Anthropology of which I have not previously been aware.

EDIT: Damn, and I would go an misspell something.
