If I get any more I'm likely to set off the metal detectors at the airports one day :V

My eyesight has gotten worse, and my left eye is nearly worthless now. I can't make hardly any use of it by itself, it just wont focus anymore. Well, atleast it still contributes slightly when I use both eyes. Hmph, wouldn't surprise me if I was blind by the time I'm 40 or 50. Its a shame, I was a great shot with rifles back when I was a kid. Well, there is always glasses or eye surgery. Actually, screw that, I'm waiting for cybernetics.

Glasses are sexy.
Always.
Any time they aren't, the person just doesn't have the right frames.
Luckily for me, both of mine are equally bad and I'm still a good shot (lefty too).

I've never been a fan of wearing them myself, though I do admit they have a certain charm to them. I guess at this point I don't have much choice though. I just barely passed the eyesight thing for driving a year or two ago, and that was only because the guy was nice enough to let me go again. I'm even worse now... Hell, I end up closing my left eye when I read. Look like damn Popeye when I'm on the computer. Hmm, I wonder if they still make monocles, I've always wanted one of those.

My right eye's the bad one. Maybe we can swap, then we'd only need one pair of glasses.

You can get a prescription monocle.
I have one of Joel Grey's monocles.
It's just reading level, though, but it has an amber tint.

The antibiotics I'm on haven't done shit to stop my infection. It's hurting again and I think it has been leaking pus.

God DAMN it.

Keep taking your antibiotics without skimping or missing a day; that's a way to leave only the hardest-to-get-rid-off infectious agents. Also, so long as the Doctors said it was okay, keep it clean. Though nasty, your body getting rid of pus through a wound is a way for it to get neutralized pathogens out of your body.

You could learn to use a 1-eye scope and still be pretty good. That's unfortunate to hear, though. I don't know what I'd do without depth perception.

I'm pretty sure my perscription has run out, sadly. I think the cleaning idea sounds good, though.

How large an area does it cover and how swollen is it?

I have no depth perception a lot of the time.
I can sort of artificially determine depth through use of shape and shade.
Similar to creating 'depth' on a 2-dimensional surface.

My glasses are now both broken and ineffective in the face of my ever-degrading vison. 20/50 and 20/400, last time they checked. So very depressing, having gone from 20/20 to this.

It dosen't cover a very large area, as a matter of fact, it's rather small. It's only slightly swollen, but it's growing back to the size it once was.
