Huh, somebody made a video on Lufia II, cool. I'll just check it ou-

Fuck get that outta the way, this game doesn't deserve this filler crap.
Edit: Now he's pointing out that the party latches onto whatever crisis wanders into their path with no real connection to their goal. No shit it's a JRPG, they do that stuff.

I've heard this before in a video review on Youtube.  Just, come on man.  Plot-driven story?  Oh no it has a plot that happens.

Stories should be driven by things going boom. Also tits.

I think the best stories are the ones that get you interested enough to think about them.

Also, longer than 90 minutes.  :P

Why would somebody even make an LP of Lufia 2 if they've got that much badmouthing to work out of the system on JRPGs in the first place?  Heck, how did he pick Lufia 2 instead of the first?

I'll admit though, I've got a pretty high tolerance for oldschool JRPG shenanigans, but even with walkthroughs I couldn't force myself to get more than about a third into either one.

I just found out my ideal girl, who I keep wanting to ask out, but not getting the courage to is moving away soon.

Why must you torment me, universe?

Indeed. This is not the universe being a douche, this is the universe telling you "WELL DO IT ALREADY, BOAY!"
So you should definitely ask her out before it's too late.

Yes, the universe speaks in caps. It can't help it.

I'd rather not force pain on myself when she does have to leave. I've a month, maybe two, three tops, which is just long enough to get to love her more, when "poof, she's gone".

That is very sad indeed.
Although just personally, I would say enjoy the few months you have. It is well worth it for the heart break. Given the same chance myself, I would be running to her place right now to talk to her.

It's not an LP, it's a Review on oldschool games. I only found it because it was linked on another site.

There is an LP on the LP archive that does both games good service, so I would stick to that.
