Despite being in Metacritic's top 5 of all time, I can't seem to get any enjoyment out of Bioshock. It seems to be screaming 'console port' at me, with the gameplay itself consisting of little more than going around looking for ammo dumps as I make my way along a more or less linear path from one quest waypoint to the next. What am I doing wrong?  :-\

Spend more time appreciating the post-apocalyptic dieselpunk aesthetics and objectivist satire?

I don't know.  Haven't played it myself.

Just lost a good bigoted friend due to her insane homophobia.
Fixed that for you.

I feel for you, man. I would if I could, anyway.

That's all I really got out of it. That, and there are underwater Randroids. I wasn't as impressed as everyone else. It's pretty, but...meh.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.
probably figured an autobiography wouldn't be interesting

I couldn't get through the first chapter.  I wasn't really feeling it at all.

Black History Month thread.

*sigh*

I'm posting here because I'm not going to post there, and I don't have it in me right now to start any big arguments or say "you're being stupid and ridiculous."  I have Russian and math homework I have to do.  I don't have time.

But I want to argue.  I really want to argue.  I want to argue and insult and make people feel bad for even suggesting what they're saying.

I guess it's kind of like this.  The theory has been applied to many different places; if you've ever found a "spoon-free summary" of an article or issue online, this is what it's referring to.

To summerise the artical. She does not have the time or effort to argue right now, she would like to, but it is not in the cards.

Thanks for the offer, but the problem is not that I need someone else to argue with, but that I need to keep myself from arguing because it is going to kill me if I don't watch out.  I just don't have the emotional strength today to fight that fight and have any energy left for myself.

How the hell can somebody like arguing?  I hate arguing.  It makes me feel bad about myself.

I'm sorry for furthering this discussion. I can't help but play devils advocate.

If it helps, you're not the only one who finds such things to be irritating.
