An isoceles triangle with two 89.999 degree angles.
That's just cruelty right there. Whomever made such a triangle should be shot.

Grah, can't get a DS or PSP emulator working.

Have you tried No$ through Wine?

I guess I'll try it, but I don't like running emulators in emulators.
It feels… recursive.
Wine Is Not an Emulator. Recursion you say?

I read way too fast.

How can that possibly be a bad thing?

because a 700 page book should last me more than two nights.

It's a developing field, but we have top men on the job.

Which men?

Top men.

They really need to invent earbuds that work forever.
Or longer than a year at least.
Yeah, they really do need to make them with a longer lifespan.
Mhm, that would be an usefull invention.
Would save me so much money.
I'm fairly sure this is a case of planned obsolescence; you aren't going to get more durable headphones until the manufacturers can make more money off of them. The ideal profit here comes making the cheapest headphones possible at the highest price possible, but also making them fall apart as often as the populous will stand, while more rarely than the other companies. You know, economics and marketing.

it's the cache that's making your links turn different colours (switching from a:href to a:visited), not your history
With Firefox, it is indeed the history that changes the color of links to show you've visited them. This happens to be easy to test.
My cache auto-deletes every time I close. I clear my history selectively every couple of weeks. I clear my cookies selectively every month or so.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

I heard talk of him being in Europe?
Damnit, we have internet here >.>
Yeah, well, my holidays are also my designated "time off Bay12" periods. It's nice to just not care.

Wait. Sod.

Anyway, I have gone from Germany to Belgium to France to England and am currently in London. I liked Paris best, but Fuckin' Bruges was pretty good too. This does make me happy, yes, but I figured you apparently want to know. Also, although this thread moves at the speed of light, the Okenido thing was amusing to me as well. Ahoho. Hohoho.

What is the new Splinter Cell game's fixation with putting Sam in situations he can't realistically deal with stealthily?  It seems like every time I thought they couldn't make a mission-critical chokepoint any tighter they throw in some automated turrets and barbed wire.
