I need to work on remembering to compile things from source.
I have little space to spare in /.
Can't blow that tiny 7 gigs on normal programs, gotta put 'em in /home.

I feel your pain. There should be a way to install the .deb packets in home. Or else "they" should stop deceiving people on how you should keep the system partition delliberatedly small "because you wont need it for anything".

I'm sad because my Wurmple died to an errant critical right before it leveled.  Rest in peace, Squiggly.
I feel your pain. Wulfgar, too, suffered the wrath of a critical.

I'm sad because I have to wait a few more days to keep playing Pokemon, but happy because I get to write about my adventures so far.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I don't think there are any PSP emulators that can actually run games yet.  I remember looking a few months ago.

If it can't run games, what's the point?

Have you tried No$ through Wine?

Yeah, last I heard that one Potemkin had stalled.

No using. That's not what freedom is for.

It can run stuff made specifically for the emulator, but they haven't implemented actual game support yet.  It's a developing field, but we have top men on the job.

Which men?

I guess I'll try it, but I don't like running emulators in emulators.
It feels… recursive.

DS has good emulators that can run most games at full frame-rate.
PSP has few emulators and only like one can actually play PSP games designed for it.

My experience with DS emulators was pretty underwhelming, but that was like a year or more ago.  By the way, lets keep on comparing notes and recommendations about "piracy" tools, that's always a good time on Toady's server.
