We don't do what you do. I mean, in New Zealand you have two years of intermediate until college following primary (which is retarded if you ask me) but in Australia it's Primary -> College (your high school) and the differences are phenomenal.

At the end of every single school year I've been told the next would be no joke and that I'd have to study yadayadayada... I've yet to confirm this statement though. Don't get stressed out over school, and don't get stressed out over something that's almost a year away.

I'm sad becouse I'm cutting off most of my hair today, i'm donateing it locks of love, but still, I like my long long long hair. The only difference between junior high and high school that I noticed was that there were more people. People kept trying to tell me that I'd have homework every day and that it'd be really hard, but this is the first year I've had homework on more than one day of the week, and it's not even from high school classes. Rather, it's from the college classes I'm taking in my spare time.

High school is incredibly similar to middle school, except instead of getting dumber the older they get, they actually start getting smarter.

Doesn't stop the freshmen from applying liberal amounts of Chewing Tobbacco to the bathroom walls, though. And the toilet seats. And the ceiling. And the mirrors.

And eachother.

And occasionally, if they happen to be incredibly stupid, even for a teenager, they apply it to a teacher and get suspended.

Speaking of which, I once saw a kid drink his own dip-spit to 'prove' to my 9th grade english teacher it was indeed coca~cola.

It was not. He threw up during lunch. It was damn funny.

High school is just a bunch of relationship drama and failed soul-searching. Aside from some life skills more attributable to aging rather than school, I don't recall anything I did through high-school having much impact on my life.

As for high school the only part that is different is (In the US) is the last 1.5 years where you have to start taking classes that look good on a collage application.

Heh, yeah, I remember that. I found that it was only really true for Second Year Uni, which is of course exactly the point the stop bothering to tell you that.

But yeah, don't sweat highschool. It's pretty much like junior high except less epic puberty raeg and less people thinking they have something to prove. It was an altogether more chill experience, at least for me.
