Really, at any level you can take anything and anyone as long as you got the right equipment.

My ears are sore from wearing headphones all the time, even when sleeping.

Problem solved.
I took the cups off my really old headphones that I can't use because they have a quarter inch plug, and taped them to the headphones I've been using.
It's a pretty ghetto fix, but it works fine.

Why do the best Gameboy Castlevanias have to be the ones with the lame anime style?  That makes me sad.

I thought the Mount & Blade demo just would cap you at level 8 and stop you from leveling up any further. Instead, it kicked me out of the game :(.

If it didn't you could literally do everything that a person who bought the game could.
ATM, mount & blade warband is $15 on both Steam and Impulse. So if you want it, now is a good time.

You mean, Aria of Sorrow (Soma Cruz and fellows), or Legends (Sonya Belmont)?

I don't remember if Circle of the Moon and that other one were anime-ish.

Cuz DS Castlevanias are more than 100% anime style.

Yeah, Aria/Dawn of Sorrow are super-japanimated.  The others (At least the new ones, Bloodlines and the like had little or no anime look to them) still have obvious influence, but the old style still came first.

On the same note, also makes me sad.  Someone mentioned a few weeks ago that all the Castlevania games have a meta-layout fans could map out in their sleep.  He's right.  I just realized I always know exactly where hidden passages are, just based on the way the room looks, and I always know which door the save point is behind.

ToonyMan didn't get my joke in the happy thread. That made me sad only two hours into the day.

I know.
And, hey, if I had $15 to spare I'd totally buy it... But I don't...
