I keep hearing my name over in my head.  Like someones calling me.

That happens to me too.
You get used to it.
Downside is, for me at least, you  ignore the first time somebody says your name, only responding when they call out again.
Has the effect of making you seem distant and detached.

Yeah, it's also annoying when the voice gets more eloquent.
You get used to it.
Downside is, for me at least, you ignore the first time someone tells you to burn your friends and family before they have a chance to turn on you, only responding when they say it again.

Makes you seem distant and detached.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Fuck.

He took me back into tropes.
Why, dragnar. Why?
Mua ha ha ha!!!

...You just got me stuck too. Great.
Yeah, thanks for killing my night.

Even wandering the dark depths of Nightmare Fuel wasn't able to get me out.

Should it bother me that I'm too jaded to it nowadays? Nightmare fuel as a whole, that is. Sure, it's creepy to an extent, but... yeah, now that I understand it, no big whoop. Kinda makes me interested to know how I might act if I ever tripped out or visited Hell for even a week.

I think I recall some old friends thinking similarly (with the tripping out part). I wouldn't be too shocked if I'm not phased one bit by it. If anything, I think it would have an opposite effect on me and make me normal. Now that's a scary thought.

For something a bit saddening today, I saw an old picture of how my town was at least a decade ago. It was such a paradise. Then again, that was exactly the problem about it in the first place. It lured too many real estate marketers over time.

Of course, some chemical states can force you to be afraid, of course, there are generally limits to how much influence fear can have...

I keep hearing my name over in my head.  Like someones calling me.
A floorboard in my bedroom makes a sound a bit like my name when I step on it.

It's starting to freak me out.

Stomp on it until it stops that.
Or get someone else to step on it. Maybe it says the name of the person who does that.

You can always act like an answering machine to the "calls" that ring in your head. Maybe a message will be left.

Broke left wrist and right elbow. Cast on left, sling on right. Minimizing typing.

I'm tempted to say "Got hit with an arrow", but I won't.

How did you manage that one? Volleyball nets are placed higher than most people are tall, aren't they?

It wasn't entirely up yet. Was just above knee-height.

But it isn't as fun if you reveal that at the same time.

You must be rather short.
Although I suppose highschool volleyball is a bit different from competitive volleyball.
