Yup, whoever though it was a good idea to send a bunch of Scots to the malaria infested jungles of panama was very very stupid.
On this topic, according to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3HnMLq8m9U the money raised for that plan was a fifth the wealth of the entire country, which.... wasn't a good idea

Hisssssssss.

I declare this a Williamite thread. It is, after all, quite literally my middle name.

Is it Th4 Willam DwArfY1 or Th4DwArfY Willam the First?

Getting a small house. It's new to me and I'm both excited and scared at the same time. I ended up sick and needing badly timed surgery, but I think I can still kinda make this happen. Not in the best part of town, but it's walking distance to work.

Getting utilities, finalizing the closing, trying to get bundled home and auto insurance.... I'm hoping these are all manageable things overall.

Don't you mean the Conqueror? I write this of my own free will reminding everyone he is not styled the bastard, he is styled 'the conqueror', but he didn't conquer anything that wasn't already his since Edward totally gave him England, which is why Harold was an evil usurper for uprising all year long until William's invasion.
Also it was the battle of Hastings, and the battle of Stamford Bridge

Considering the title of King of England wasn't his to give, because unlike the uncivilized Frenchie barbarians the Anglo-Saxon Kings were chosen democratically, I think Harold has the bigger claim. Billy Bastards go on the house!

Guys if you wanna talk paradox games there's like... You know topics in other games for that?

I like them myself but they have a habit of skirting a bit too close to fires sometimes.

And that's honestly not a point in favor, because the political/history topics on this board don't exactly go places suitable for this topic really.

No worries Gunner.

Anyway just for the record I want to say that I was going for humourous exaggeration in the post above.
