There was a catgirl fad a while back, where lots of people added cat ears to their avatars. Other than that, things have been fairly on the fad front.

A few Bay Watchers had kids and/or got married, which was nice. Hanslanda even returned!

If only I had been here for that.

I can't actually think of any epic memes since the Scanfad. So I guess you haven't missed that much? Oh, we did have Necrothreat III, and Necrothreat IV is currently running.

In happier thoughts, I decided to see if random.org worked on this, and it does, so I do have a random number generator, at the very least.

I know we've had a couple people kind of drop off the radar without fanfare, too, although I can't really think of any at the moment. Anyway, there's also been several people coming out as gay or trans, so that's pretty cool, and we have a few new prominent forumites hanging around these days. FG&RP seems to have developed a pretty separate culture from GD in the past couple of years, and the big freeforms seem to have somewhat given way to more structured games and suggestion games.

Also I stopped calling myself a wizard, dropped my absurd hatred of Steam, and stopped trying to run six D&D games at the same time

...Jeez, looking at my posts from two years ago to get a sense of what exactly has happened since then is super cringey. I have no clue how I managed to have an internet-girlfriend back then :v
