I'm actually not sure, but I believe so; the same character, at least.  The set's appeared on a couple Imgur dumps in the past, and probably much more since I'm not exactly there that often.  I think the only attribution I've ever seen was a couple failed attempts at tracking them down that got as far as an anonymous contributor on 8chan, which I assume to be related to either 4chan or 2chan somehow.  Any rate, link, though some of the other images have some different art styles that might be other artists taking up the chain.

I wondered if Ghost in the Shell (1995) was really as good as I remembered, or if it was just a bunch of philosophy and tits that impressed me in high school. Picked it up on the Steam sale and watched it again. It's still awesome and I had a blast seeing it again.
