Just removed a dove from the house. It was quite content to sit on my finger until I launched it in the garden. I could swear animals never used to like me this much.

Are you per chance becoming a Disney princess?

Birds are surprisingly compliant when they're scared of something enough that you seem like the lesser threat. I had a parrot that hated being carried around (the little gobshite liked walking on the floor), but at one point it got into a fight with my dog. While it did give my dog a fair beating, it felt threatened enough that as soon as I came close it litterally jumped into my hand and went "HOLY SHIT HUMAN GET ME OUT OF HERE".

So maybe the dove was just scared of something and when you got close it saw you as a way out :v, doves and pigeons are normaly used to humans anyway.

:v well it didn't literally say that, but just from its body language and the fact it was uttering every single line it knew in a rapid sucession was enough to express that it wanted to GTFO as fast as possible.

This genuinely made me laugh out loud, and almost choke on my coffee.

So maybe the dove was just scared of something and when you got close it saw you as a way out :v, doves and pigeons are normaly used to humans anyway.

Probably helped. It tends to happen to a lesser extent with other birds and small animals, though, but that's probably just because I'm good at not spooking them.

God the actor for Penguin on Gotham is soooo good. The fact he's the Outsider in Dishonored 2 now makes it even better. The guy can make a murderous psychopath so sympathetic. Not gonna say much else, due to spoilers, but still. The guy's a good actor.

But I enjoy the show :c

I think it's pretty good. Haven't seen anyone really underperform acting wise. But if you mean plot and/or the premise, I dunno how to really help with that
