I came back home. Home is very overrated in general (cue my roommate going "I would KILL for ANY chance to see my family again" despite the fact she goes home regularly; girl's homesickness is on an entirely new level).

But one thing my home has that my dorm does not have is my cat. I love my cat. He is a very good kitty cat. Isn't that right Thomas? He's actually probably fairly anti-social as cats go (hates to be lifted or be on top of people, only tolerates being next to them, at most), so when he does show affection it is doubly nice. He has just sat next to me the entire time I've been at home, periodically waking up and demanding to be petted.

The other thing my home had was the charger for my electric razor. Oh my I hated to have a beard. Hated every second of it. It's all a terrible dream now.

Also, I'm surprised by how homesick I am. I kinda wanted to get away from it for a bit, but now that I am I really want to go back.

As a happy: I got a package in the mail from my friends (praise Haspen, Hermes of Bay12!) and it contained chocolate from home, biscuits, books and an Irish flag wrapping up a Gerry Adams biography. Those last two made it.

After like twenty minutes of moving things around, I now have an actual desk[With a comfy spinny chair] to put my potato on. And also a monitor, so I can have actual SCREEN RESOLUTION now. This way my neck and chest don't ache from eternally planking while I potato and my alarm clock is far enough away from my bed that I now have to actually GET UP to turn it off. Why didn't I do this YEARS ago?

Aw man, I ended up finding that embarassing D&D movie, watched it, and it reminded me that the only thing worthy of anything in the entire movie are some special effects and goddamn Jeremy Irons hamming it up like its ragnarok. I really like him as an actor overall, but in that movie he simply didn't care about what he was doing so he just turned the ham level up to 11 and did one of the most glorious bits of overacting ever.
