awe. That dog looks sweet

What made me happy today is I'm learning to cope with my anxiety a tad bit better. I was in a crowded resteraunt and due to my illness I usually can't do it without receiving bad chaotic vibes. Today was much better but I had to talk to my family to get through it which is part of my mental condition I suppose. Unfortunately there's not much approved medications for it but I am on one that has helped tremendously but it is a troubling arduous process but I manage to look on the bright side in that aspect.

I often have to pause games, sometimes for a long time, while I deal with stuff on my work computer.  So I've been hearing a *lot* of the GTA4 map theme.  I mean literally hours.

It's not peppy electronica, yet it's actually a nice background theme for doing stuff.  Maybe inappropriate for this thread though because it's soooooo saaaaad, like everything else in the game...
And that makes me smile for some reason (:

Edit:  Oooh just realized... it's kinda like the Fallout ambient tunes!  The classic ones which are largely just wraiths wailing over the ruined world.

My wife came back from her month-long visit to her family, so now my family is back together again!

I watched Alien and Aliens back-to-back. Even though I've had twists spoiled for me through cultural osmosis, they're still amazing films that surprised and scared me the whole way through.

I'm just disappointed that this particular special effect didn't make it into Aliens.

Yeah, my family's always kept collies. Great dogs, and so far they've all grown into their ears...

If I have been correctly informed, the Australian Shepherd is actually an American breed called that because... Well, it's probably because they "purebreedified" (read: inbred) an unofficial breed or variant taken from Australia, but it's funnier to imagine they named it that just because.
