I think that a lot of time the conversation is framed as "we should give kids only as much as we're sure they'll need and want in the moment," whereas I think that you should give children everything that you can. You never know what element of their toolbox is going to be useful, and they'll encounter circumstances that you never even had to dream of. You can't guarantee anything, but you have to do your best to give them a diverse set of information, in as high a quality as you can muster.

This should be a sad thread post of mine because despite how vivid my memory can be at times (which is rather something said of me by others rather than something self-assumed x_x [Since it's all 'normal' to me so I have no idea]), that one thing there is pretty much one of the main factors I'm still here to do stuff at this moment.

I'm ill-suited to be an Aarhus guide though, i don't know much more about the city than a tourist does, despite having lived here for 23 years and counting. :v

I slept 10 hours last night o_o I slept really really great.

Nice. An actual good nights sleep feels great, especially after a long string of terrible nights. Something tells me that tonight isn't going to be fantastic for me, because job interview tomorrow and it's making me nervous. Less nervous than i thought i would be, but hey, can't complain about that.

Come think of it, ever since i got the phone call from the firm (or rather, ever since i called them back because i was fast asleep when they called), i've been feeling pretty damn good. It's like... All my positive feelings are as great as they've always been, but my nervousness and anxiety just feels... Less. It's the same feeling, but it's smaller. It's like there's a surprisingly large amount of processing power that has suddenly been freed up, which supports my hypothesis about how i'm spending a LOT of energy on being anxious and worrying. THIS DEVELOPMENT PLEASES ME.
