Every pope is an anti-pope when you're protestant!

(... would... would they be considered protestant? o-o)

Now I'm imagining the Pope with his hat converted into a kickass propeller beanie that lifts him into the air.

That made my day.

There is also that modern day offshoot from Catholics with a few tens of thousands of believers that firmly believe the Papacy has ended and the current one is no religious authority, due to some weird shenanigens

I finished painting my nightlight! So that's one behemoth taken care of, several months later than it should've been. Progress!

Anyway, while I wholeheartedly endorse pranking Jehovah's Witnesses (like anybody else) it is important to keep an eye out to make sure they aren't unhappy with it and generally be friendly about the whole thing.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I'm not sure which has been more educational for me, Crusader Kings 2 or Sim Earth.  I understood so little about that period of time in Europe, and now I at least know that.

I especially didn't know that Mali kicked Islam out of Mauretania and lower Spain, forming a trade empire which annexed whole cities in Britain and is largely responsible for the end of the Viking raiding.  Er, wait.  What I mean to say is I didn't know that Mauretania was a thing.

I knew Hitler had help from the aliums!

In actual happy; beat my brother in the new board game we got, Antagonist. Granted, its largely because of his own oversight, but failing to take everything into account, and assuming I would make a particular choice without forcing me to, is a learning experience. Probably won't happen next time. Its good to see a plan succeed, though.

I was playing Team Fortress 2 in a public server, when two guys named XxX_MLG_QUICKSCOPER_XxX and xxx_MLG_dickscoper_xxx joined. I was playing Pyro, and saw the opportunity for shenanigans, so I changed my alias to xX_MLG_FLAMESCOPER_Xx. We played and had fun, I stomped the pub, and they were impressed. They said I can add a third pair of X's to my name. I did, then switched teams and dominated them so hard they ragequited. I've never really understood the pretentious 'MLG' name fad, but I sure had a fun time messing with those two.
