One of my colleagues in our accounts payable team was telling me that she's been having to deal with loads of angry phone calls this week from companies whose invoices haven't been paid.  The invoices aren't being paid due to the ridiculously poorly handled implementation of a new financial system for our organisation which has left our staff with no clue what they're meant to be doing, no one to turn to for support, and a massive increase in workload.

Apparently the angriest phone call she got was from Capgemini, who have a particularly high value invoice that's well overdue.

Capgemini are the consultants that our upper management paid to select and implement the new financial system for us

The winged termites are hatching today.

Watching them take off into the wind, in their massive, unending, devouring swarms is so beautiful.
The light reflecting off of their white wings, against their miniscule black body reminds me of dandelion seeds in the wind.

It's truly one of the most beautiful things to watch, for me.

Nah, just many, many young ones. They just shoot out tendrils of web and go where the wind wills. But there can be hundreds of the things, floating on fly catching webs. Those termites had better watch out.
