The main problem with walking dead in both it's forms is that the actual "problems" the zombies are a backdrop to are quite frankly... All either out of total stupidity or just stupid on their own.

Zombie consumerism

Not a real valid reason to say you like anything to be honest... Zombies don't make everything good! And I say this as someone who loves zombies, though I'm starting to like diffrent takes on zombies way more these days. Like the Hallows from dark souls, or the stitched/Frankensteins monster look and actual intelligence.

I'd rather admit to watching General Hospital (I do, dammit olga .x) than admit to liking Walking Dead (Which I don't .V).

Oh, it's great, because your character was the only one that had powers that hit multiple opponents for damage, so now fighting mobs is really hard, and Weston can't cast Sleep fast enough.
He just picked up Magic Missile, though, so I just fixed that issue.

I do kind of like some of the themes that come up in The Walking Dead - same as The Last of Us.
Which is pretty much 'When the world goes to crap we will turn on each-other without a second thought'.
Which we already knew. But the more naive amongst us probably thought that a singular enemy like zombies would help us band together.
We probably won't know unless it happens. I use 'unless' instead of 'until' because I seriously think we're past the point of having a worldwide man-made apocalypse.

I guess I prefer the alien invasion genre to zombies if you're gonna explore how much people will fuck each other over to save their own skin. Because then you add the potential for collaboration and very rational reasons to be a species-traitor. You don't see too many people siding with the zombies unless they're unhinged.

I mean, Battlestar Galactica basically turned into a soap opera with Cylons. But the first two seasons, and the season 2.5 webisodes were some finely crafted TV. (Then they hit a big old reset button to start season 3, and I kinda stopped caring shortly thereafter...)

I think you'd be a Monk, for the Martial Arts bonus, which would also give you damage resistance, and access to psychic powers later on.
