Belated, since I didn't notice until I got to school and so couldn't really respond, but... I... I hadn't seen that fic site before. It... it has an option to search the entire bloody thing by word count. That... that makes me happy.

On the downside, I now really kinda' wish Loki would stop buggering Stark and molesting Thor. Seriously Loki, you can stop now. Well over a dozen Avengers fics in what I filtered through, like two didn't have either a Loki/Stark or Loki/Thor pairing. It's like Naruto all over again, except with added incest ;_;

E: Also bloody hell poor bilbo. Poor thorin. Poor all of them.

I can't believe there was a conversation about ASoIAF fanfiction with nary a single word about The North Remembers.

I've read that already; it's fine, excellent even, but I'm into crackfic now, send stuff that goes blatantly off the rails like Love and Honor, which is pretty much Eddard Stark surviving past the first book and promptly bitchslapping all the angst and dreariness and downheartedness that came with AFFC and ADWD into paste. Of course it's still dark because Others, but it's uplifting to read.

I like dubstep on occasion. It's a very small garbage-to-gold ratio, though. Most of them I don't really care for.

I was only just getting into electronic house when dubstep exploded in popularity, but thankfully it seems to have just been a fad. Living in a college town, there were a few years there where it felt like you could never escape it. It's not that the subgenre itself is bad, but there was just so much crap made at its height that it's difficult to like it.

I've acclimatized to dubstep. I used to hate it, as the wubs always seemed to break the flow of the music, but my friends played so much of it that one of two things happened Option A: Dubstep music has gotten better and doesnt break the flow of the music for the wub wubs, Option B: I've gotten used to it and my brain doesnt realize the flow is being broken anymore

The only time I ever really liked dubstep was that one mission in Farcry 3 where you burn all that weed. Then the bass drops and Rastafarian style lyrics start going off.
