It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I always disliked calling The Hobbit a prequel, seeing as it was written and published BEFORE the lord of the rings trilogy. Possibly before it was even conceived. It was just that a certain trilogy was more popular :P

Huh. It does precede the trilogy fairly notably, though... buncha' stuff that happened to bilbo basically enabled a buncha' stuff that happened in LotR. It might not have been originally written to be a prequel to the later three, but it still... kinda' is?

That said, though admittedly the trilogy is more popular, I have to note I've read the hobbit like... probably more than twenty times. I re-read it a lot when I was younger.

I never actually finished reading the trilogy. Iirc, I stalled part way through either the second or third one :-\

Today, after helping an incoherent, vomit-covered girl get home with the help of a very nice homeless guy, I realised that I love all people, regardless of anything, with very very few exceptions. It's a wonderful feeling.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

No you won't.

tahujdt's comment will only make sense if you choose to change it (and dear goodness, were there tons of things that are apparent influences on changing that idea).

And I cannot read [the general sense of the definition of facetious] online, if they're said in brevity. :I

I've heard similar things said online without being facetious. :(

Especially to the misanthropic cynics! They just need a hug and some help. People don't become cynics without some trouble along the line. And they don't really want you to join them, they just want to prove to themselves that misery is inherent in the world and thus they are not worse than everybody else for posessing it in abundance, that's why they act so snobbish and elitistly assholish.

Hell, I even don't hate faschists. Sure, if they surface in my country's government, like they are appearing to do, I'll grab a gun and go shoot them, because there will be no other choice if I don't want Nazi Germany to happen all over again, but I won't hate them. I'll bandage sutvivors and treat them humanely and all that.

That's so true. ;_;
He's lying! He's just saying that for himself!
Nah, don't say that, me. Not everyone is like ... that.
Hmph. True...

When I see anything bad and I want to emulate what they're doing, I dissuade myself by saying 'you'll be just like them' if you do so: with the meaning of that pertaining to the thinking and the thoughts behind it and not the person and their action as a whole (as in, the...values in it. Argh english. :I)

On that note: Going out with my niece later to play some good ol' DotA with my nephew! >:D

More likely due to the hate and...illogical ideas that I see with others.  :-\
Oh, and mass media. And our government (well, those who are loud enough to get the spotlines anyways). And our educational system.

But I don't have trouble with cynicism, noop. I can...err, self-therapy myself on it. :))
How does one say philosophize in different meanings and terms?
