Today seemed to be going badly, left various supplies at home, no pen or pencil, confused, diarrhea. But suddenly, after going to Physics my heavily-polish accented teacher announced "Is 9/13/13 everyone! It is Friday, the thirteenth!" And somehow, that made everything going badly OK.

Well, Friday the 13th is the unluckiest day of the year, so having a reason for the terrible events helps even if it's just superstition.

Yeah... I realized at the beginning of the week that there was going to be 9/11 and a Friday 13th in the same week.  I commented to my co-worker that I was surprised there weren't any apocalypse predictions.
