Honestly, I don't think you did, Ultimuh. Virtually everyone else that posted did, though. But yeah, what Kai said: If anything I post bothers someone, just let me know.  :)

American Sign Language 2
College Algebra with Limits
Forms of Lit Fiction
Social Problems
Computer Science

I don't recommend taking 5 college classes at once, ever.

On the other hand, I've recently reaffirmed my decision regarding apathetic boredom still being better than nonexistence, so happy, yay.
That's like saying torture is better than starvation :|

It sucks. A lot. I always manage to score really, really poorly in one of my classes when I do that (C-, D+)

Apathetic boredom is better because, and I can't stress this enough: That can end.

You can't end non-existance.

It's kind of a killer argument.

True, but it's still two Very Bad Things.

Apathetic boredom is pretty horrible. At least with torture you feel something.

But when people talk about immortality being bad, "you'll get bored after a while!" gets brought up... like, invariably.

That's what is being discussed.

(Besides, even if you DO get bored eventually, it won't happen for eons.)

I wish to be in no "clique" unless that clique is ~8 billion people large.
Seven billion. There are seven billion humans. We aren't scheduled to hit eight until around 2025.

Anyway, we just had a major medical breakthrough. This method will allow doctors to inhibit the ability of bacteria to synthesize the toxins that actually kill you. Since it does not involve actually attacking the bacteria, this will work equally well on antibiotic-resistant and vulnerable bacteria.

I don't understand that whole concept. If there's millions of lifetimes worth of stuff to do, be, and learn at this very moment, and society continues forward at a steady pace, how could you ever run out of stuff to play with, people to date, subjects to learn, jobs to hold, and so on? Yeah, I know that you'd find a lot of similar stuff, but by that time, you could go explore the freakin' universe, as relatively plausible long range space travel will probably have been invented.

Besides, I never get tired of good sub sandwiches.

Oooooh, I see. I thought FD was currently feeling that way, in which case I was about to shower him with ineffectual hugs until he loathed and despised me (getting him out of apathy, yay!).

Ah, okay. Still, that'd put us around 7.4ish currently, no? Considering the context I'd rather overshoot than undershoot :P

I'm not sure how to reply to this.
