Okay, all the propaganda for Notre Dame de Paris in here convinced me to download it. (Project Gutenberg->.mobi file->kindle reader on my phone FTW). I'll be reading it on my 50 min commute to the office every day.

Maybe we should start a Bay12 book club, with online vid meets? For realsies?

Oh wow, found a job posting for something that's more or less exactly what I've been doing for no pay for nearly a year now, and without the religious indoctrination(or handing out food to fellow poor people). Granted, it's about 20 miles away, but I'm still applying. I'm sure there's a bus or two that heads that way

Impressive, that does look rather nice.  Though I imagine it would be annoying to sit in one of those chairs with the sun beaming right onto your head.  But there does look to be plenty of seats to move to in that case.   I approve of your library.

Also, the title song from The Phantom of the Opera always makes me feel better. I have no idea why.

In my current location, I am not in direct contact with the daystars deadly rays. I merely profit from it's illuminating properties at the moment.

Hmm... I read those when I was so young that I can't remember them anymore, but I'll try to think of something.  Incidentally, my knee-jerk suggestion is The Phantom of the Opera (Gaston Leroux), because it has a kind of similar feel to NDdP and other elements that I thought were just kind of bizarre and cool.  Is there a particular genre or type of character that you'd like to read about?
I was really interested in reading some classics, so anything you enjoyed really, I suppose I'll start with The Phantom of the Opera. But any suggestions for things to add to my reading list would be appreciated.
