Since 99% of the people on the forums that know me, know me as the "beer avi guy", I set it as my steam avatar as well. Fits better than I expected.

Warm grass feels so nice to bare feet. Even if I was in the process of removing canine feces from the backyard.

That's not grass.  :P
Anyway, I stopped walking barefoot on the grass when I got stung in the foot by a bee for the 10th time.

It was worth watching the Gurren Lagann movies just to see Yoko put on a goddamn shirt at the end.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Huh, sounds like the reverse of many shows.

No, it was grass. Grass is different from feces in that it tickles slightly when you step on it. Aside from that...ewwww... I was WATCHING WHERE I WAS WALKING to make sure that didn't happen.

Actually, you walk around barefoot enough and... Everyone who says these kinda things starts looking silly. You become VERY aware of what's on the ground without even completely paying attention to it.

Actually, I just used to watch my feet so I could avoid the lines in tiled floors, etc. So it kind of became habit to be very aware of where I'm walking and to often look down at the ground. I imagine it made people think I was always sad, but whatever.

but I guess looking at the ground when you're walking is kind of weird.
It makes people think I'm some kind of of melancholic loser that I do it. Which I guess isn't inaccurate.

Same. Mostly to avoid stepping on bugs though. Loved bugs when I was a kid.

Always annoys me a bit when people trip or step on things and complain about it. I want to tell them they should watch where they're going, but I guess looking at the ground when you're walking is kind of weird.
Speaking of bugs... they make me happy. Especially the local box elder bugs. They're so friendly! One accompanied me for a whole block before flying away.

The only bugs I really dislike are ants, flies, and mosquitoes. I used to be afraid of bees, but then I discovered that they were chill bros. I also learned not to hold stinkbugs. And to not have bare feet when sitting in the basement with the lights off. Slugs are NOT pleasant to feel. shudder shudder

Then that slug kept coming back and eventually became my friend once he learned to stay away from my chair. :D He has since departed on his way as soon as the heat wave in Michigan subsided.

...although I imagine that this doesn't exactly make me endearing to people in the least...

So I found a recording of me playing. There are a few others but I'm obviously the only one that matters.

The audio quality is terrible, you can't really hear the bass. But at least I wasn't on the timpani(my nephew is on the percussion team there, and let me tell you the timpani were thunderous).

Those videos are both from a competition called Nótan. Those were two of the best, but the best of the best was this one. It's not even that badly affected by the audio quality.

RÚV is supposed to have better-quality recordings, but I can't get their site to work. But hey, at least these recordings exist.
