Fossilized fish anus
Three words I'd hoped I'd never have to hear again.

I felt it necessary to post here.

Why?

Because my conservative Christian roommate of a year and a half ago doesn't believe in evolution, but does support gay marriage.

People forming opinions and moral beliefs according to their own understanding of right and wrong. Makes me happy too.

Well, not believing in the propagation of genes does at least solve the question of why the genetic predisposition to homosexuality manages to survive each generation.

That's supposed to be a joke, by the way, but you can tell them I said that.

I woke up feeling great today. This is actually the first time in weeks I woke up and felt both rested AND happy. Usually it's just one or the other.

I don't think it's really possible for anyone to not believe that genes propagate.  I mean, otherwise there'd be no reason to suspect that two white parents would have a white child rather than a black child.  Non belief in evolution normally stems more from "I don't think species can change into other species" or something like that.

I found some Kendal mint cake (mint flavoured sugar in bar form, effectively) in my cupboard. I love it!  :D
I am having great fun on mount and blade: warband. I've also got to the point where my character is an unstoppable death machine and the 60 or so soldiers that follow me around aren't too bad either.  :P I've taken part in quite a few sieges and survived to the end about 2/3 of the time. Damn Rhodok crossbowmen and spear-men. Luckily they are almost wiped off the map.

More or less the same with me, despite waking up at around 5:00-5:30, an hour or so before I usually do.

Also happy because my problem with my phone is solved. The guy at work offering to buy me a train ticket to where my dad lives(did I mention that before?) bought me some minutes for my phone. I also had a pretty decent game concept idea on the bus to work this morning.

And just now, the ice cream truck was playing wonderful music what I think from an NES game called Faria. Maybe not that game, but definitely NES music.

Kendal mint cake went to the top of mount Everest on the first successful trip with Edmund Hillary (and many, many others after). Infact, they casually sat on the top of Everest nibbling it.
