Playing more Cave Story, beat Sacred Grounds again. Now that I can beat it, I can't get enough of it.

I have an almost encyclopedic understanding of those caves now, even years after last playing. The only room I never mastered was the falling blocks room. And the final boss form, but that is always a rocket spam haze anyway.

The second room usually brings me down to single-digit health. This time I didn't get hit. And this time I tried the trick where you stand on his face for the last part. It was actually incredibly satisfying.

 It could be worse, you could have forgotten to get a red potion before entering the final areas. God that took a long time.

Speaking of Cave Story, recently discovered this remix. It's making me remarkably focused and relaxed.

Wrong. Enemies are no match for me. Spikes on the other hand are a pain to deal with.

What weapons do you have? Got Spur, rocket launcher, fireball, bubbler, and the Blade. Also 45 health (missed one somewhere. Also missed the timer)

The one you probably missed was the last one - you have to talk to the puppy just below the Heavy Press Security System.

'twas the last one right before that row of presses above the lava. I know how to deal with those, but the ones before are sucky.

 I don't remember fully, but I think rockets have slight splash and can take out the first one in the row. Then just spur genocide them all from the side.

You could go right underneath it then shoot a maxed Spur shot straight up as it falls.
