Imagine having nothing but a crappy laptop with an integrated GPU and a lousy Celeron for gaming for like 4 years, then one year ago i discover something that needs no video memory, incidentally i get my brand new PC at that time so the joy was rather short lived

Embarked on a terrifying biome, with a cave. Met a dragon. Killed a dragon, without a scratch on my two military dwarves, although one of the two dogs got fried.
A month later, a herd of skeletal elk came and slaughtered everybody.

You should've embarked near Nist Akath if you wanted to avoid skelks.

I thought my soldiers could handle a bunch of bony grazers, especially after they disposed of a dragon with such ease. Oh well, fun times.

Wanted to buy the DF cat shirt from 3panelsoul for 21$...turns out shipping is a minimum of about 14$USPS to around ten times that by FedEx...seriously WTF!?!

I'll just donate a few bucks to Toady from the guilt of even considering to spend this much money on a frivolous thing and continue to wear the dilapidated ten year old shirts that are rotting on my body as I wear them. :(
I should look into having my own shirts printed... that way I could also have a few with Oolite on them. :D

I don't even bother with merchandise clothes because they're always either t-shirts or hoodies and I don't ever wear either.

I like hoodies. They're comfy so long as you don't bother with shirts.

Never actually purchased any merc either, now I rememeber why. (extra costs)
Also hoodies would interfere with my long greying coife (...locks?) which I tend to keep tied up in a ponytail.

I like the style of 3ps though... maybe it's possible to buy copyright/goodwill for a single shirt? :P

edit: I m must correct that: I did buy a Zelda shirt on a games expo recently for for too much money.

I think I'm one of the few people I know who actually likes formal-wear.  I don't own any hoodies or jeans, and the few t-shirts I have are festooned with snarky literary quotes.

My only "merc" is the xkcd "Stand back--I'm going to try science!!" t-shirt.  A friend gave it to me as a supplemental gift for taking care of her cat and garden while she was on vacation.

I have an obsession with white shirts.

I have over 20 of the damn things. :D Although I do like really big shirts because they're comfortable.

Doing the dorms I take it? Have fun. Hopefully you don't get stuck with someone that thinks having sex 15 feet from you is what college is about.
