I only ever did this one page and then worked on 2 more. Back then I was about ha;f the skill I am now and drawing the same character lots of times was a huge strain for me- not now.

Okay so I have been grinding out oil paintings for a few weeks now and I have a couple I want to share. At one point I was switching between 4 paintings at once which was pretty exciting, but after abandoning a few I'm down to the one (the second pictured), but I should be able to clean up and make room for 2 or three more still-life setups.

I'm going to be finishing up the second one tomorrow, and then I have to wait a few months ( :< ) to varnish it so that the surface is nice and shiny.

I think you need to blend some more, different colours in there. It would make them look much more interesting in my opinion.

A little inspired by all the chainmail discussin' in the fan art thread, I finally plugged in my tablet again and began messing about with making my own brushes.

Oh, and ignore the sharp stick. Next time I touch this guy he's getting an axe.

There are certain... problems... along the path to artistic improvement which must be... solved.
