That comes from ballpoints, which often need lots of pressure. I think.

The area between his mouth and nose is far too long in comparison to the rest of his face to be that of a normal human being. I'd recommend that it be shorter than his chin, unless that's the art style you're going for.

The vertical tail fins look a little weird. Also the plane looks stubbier (shorter and wider) than any actual jet fighters I can think of, but if you meant to do that then whatever. If you are trying to make a real airplane then the wings need to be (relative to the painting's viewpoint) wider and shorter.

I've been oil painting like crazy... actually I moved and I still haven't even looked for employment so painting is my new full-time job. I'd show proof but I lost my scanner to my roommate. I'll see if I can get some crappy photos as proof.
