Turn 5: Arm thyselves
I'll strangle the unconscious rat to death, for wrestling exp.
(6+1) You start running to the Rat, and see a rock in your way as you near it and jump over neatly. (You: 4+1) (rat: 6-2) You grab it in a bare-necked chokehold and squeeze its life out. Gained Novice wrestling!
Kill any surviving rats. In a fancy way.
You look on as the last rat is strangled. (Watching: 5) You learn to do the move that Steadman preformed! Gained Novice Wrestler.
i got two! YES!
if its a free action do a happy dance!
if the last rat survives the attempt on its life beat it to death with another rat
or look for some thing cool. like a sword. i LIKE swords.
[4] You do a little dance nothing spectacular, but at least you didn't embarrass yourself with it. [6+1 (was a swordman)] You pull a chair to sit down over and resting on it is a [3] Silver short sword. It works on ghost, unlike most metals. You pick it up.
I too shall look at the bookcase, to see if there's any tomes on healing there.
[5] Sitting on the shelf is a copy of
Modern Anatomy: Wounds and Fractures. Flipping through its pages gives you [1] no immediate insight but proves to be full of information on how the body works and what to fix first in a wound.
Oh. Whoops.
In that case, I try to find the single most valuable object in the room. Since all legendary dining rooms consist of a single centerpiece.
[1+1 (dwarf) -3 (item is well hidden)] you waste a lot of time searching but find no one item that stands out.
I light my pipe, then search the room for secret exits.
[1] You don't have any tobacco on you so you literally lit you pipe on fire! [4] you quickly through it away saving yourself from injury but your pipe is burned to charcoal. [1] you are to busy crying over the lost of your pipe to do anything.
i want to be an armorer
[5+1(Creative)+1(In a Mood to make stuff)] a few people dare to glance in at your work and see that you are creating a pair of greaves. [5] you finish in record time! ((crap now i have to make up an artifact... i hope your happy Jet.))
This is a Artifact Steel Greaves. Blah blah... It is encircled with bands of native gold and Oak. It is studded with spikes of obsidian, Star Ruby, and carp bones. It is encrusted with sapphires. On it is an image of Daemon Stonemountain and rats in turtle shell. This is referring to the slaying of two rats by Daemon Stonemountain in turn 4.
As you snap out of it, you feel much more skilled in armoring. You grab your greaves, and exit the forge. Gained Legendary Armorsmith! Gained Has had Mood!
well since I like my arms attached, I'll just go with finding weapons.
After briefly considering an exotic for of suicide you look for weapons instead. [4] You find a [4] Bronze Crossbow, but no bolts.
Well while everyone is busy I guess I'll read over the two magic books and get a grasp of things.
[3] Although the books contain much more knowledge, you don't gain any foresight from the experience.
look for a weapon! I don't ant to wrestle my entire life.
[2] you may not want to but you will for now.
Perception roll: [5] the books on the bookshelf seem to change from turn to turn.
Environment roll: [1] The dining room no longer feels legendary. far below you you here a shattering thud.
No injuries! Yay you!
