I throw the booze barrel at the demon. Then, I take a torch, set fire to a wooden bolt, and shoot the barrel with it. Booze explosion attack!

yes Daemon is a player his stats are:

Name: Daemon Stonemountain
Skills: Competent Wrestler (3 exp) (+1 to hit, -1 to enemies hitting you, +1 to holding hostiles), Dabbling Pistoleer
Status: Uninjured blood bathed (+1 to combat turns next turn)
Items: 2-shot Self-Defense hadngun (1 shot, +3 to damage, can only be used as a counterattack.)
Equipment: loose black shirt and pants black shoes
NPCs: None

In that case, I try to find the single most valuable object in the room. Since all legendary dining rooms consist of a single centerpiece.

is there a possibility that i wil fail?
the numbers 1 to 6 could be the equipment
just like in dwarf fort one guy wil make a crappy blowgun (1) and the other wil make an badass awesome armor(6)
but they still reach both legendary status
