Maybe it's just me, but I've not been impressed by one Aliased game yet.  It makes it all blurry in practically every game I've ever played.  Not worth the FPS hit if you ask me.

I actually cleaned it up so that I could post it with icons present so it's the actual desktop itself, but without being so horribly cluttered that I feel silly. So this is my desktop. It does not feel right without all the clutter. Oh well.

I've had the same image for the past six months or so, I think. It'll probably stick around for at least that long. I think I had the one before it for something like two years because I just didn't care enough to change it...

Coming off a laptop with a Intel 945GM?  Yup, quite pleased.  That's also with x8 AA on, actually. *shrug

EDIT: Sorry, x8, not x4.  Not impressed with the AA.  Word on the street is that it's broken in Crysis for Nvidia chipsets, but this is an ATI 6850.

Uh.  Aliasing == jagged lines.  If it's blurring anything that isn't a line, you're not talking about anti-aliasing.

I dunno. I don't mind the aliased lines in favor of sharper contrast. Especially on the trees the anti-aliasing kinda dulls the color. I think they both look good.

Anyway, to keep on topic, my desktop has changed.

I think you know what I meant... AA == blurry, so I turn it off.  I do compensate by running at a higher resolution though.  That image you picked is a bad... bad example.
