I don't think it's possible to sue someone just for using a quote from some random person. It's probably possible in the USA, thanks to the gullible jury system, but not likely.

Judging from the ads, I was under the impression that it was just a site that was trying to lure adolescent boys.

Anyway, I was under the impression that they did in fact use lots of spam (blog comments, not the ads). The malware thing is suspicious, but no proof.
