I play Evony. Because I'm the type who actually checks something out before flaming it.

It turned out to be quite a good game. There's plenty of intelligent people playing it, including one powergamer who seriously earned my respect. And the funny thing about it is that it seems a lot more balanced gameplay-wise, due to bad design. Even if you pay $100 for it, it doesn't mean you'd do better, but you do get shiny stuff like higher ranks. It's actually better than all the other games of the genre, like Tribal Wars, Knighthood, Travian. I don't feel like I'm getting cheated or that someone's about to just gank me out of nowhere.

And apparently, it's been booming since they used less porn ads. Or maybe they used less of them since it started booming.

It's a city & army building game. Build cities, raid people.

They're using a different girl now, I think, one who actually plays the game a lot. I think the ad company that posts the ads give you instructions on how to block Evony ads :P

And I'm probably one of the few people around here who's more focused on whether they get the geography correct on the maps behind the women in various states of undress.  "No, no no, Lower Lorraine is further north than that..."  :P

I'm sorry for the bump, but I have something relevant to this discussion. Admittedly, I tune out most of the ads that I run across and haven't really noticed Evony ads much at all. Let's just say that they've gotten a lot less... subtle.

I know not of what you mean. It's a queen in her late 50's. While I could understand the satire of using some supermodel dwarf, why did you choose an image of an actual queen?
